David Ramazani
was born in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1955.
He started at an
early age, making sailboats
out of twigs and taking wood-working class in High School.
David apprenticed for 10 years with an Irish craftsman honing
his craft
three to four hours a day. He specializes in lathe
work which
includes
spindle turning and deep vessel turning,
carving, chip carving,
high relief, shallow relief, Inlay intarsia work,
furniture joinery. David enjoys antique restoration and construction
the most, enabling
him to understand techniques that were
used in a bygone era.
He also is skilled in creating Cut English Dove
Tails and American
through and Blind Dove Tails, Windsor,
Chippendale, and Hitchcock
chair making.

David has created litterally thousands of pieces of furniture
in his
30 years as a skilled craftsman.
He has appeared twice in
Virginia Currents and Fine Woodworking
magazine.
Enjoying the challenge of building in all styles of wood working.
David keeps a balance of using hand and machinery tools.
He enjoys working with his clients to give them a fine piece of
wood work that they will enjoy with their family today and for
years to come. |
